Retroficiency’s Building Efficiency Intelligence Platform was selected for the Mass Technology Leadership Council (MassTLC) Innovative Energy Technology of the Year Award. A committee of more than 40 industry executives, thought leaders and media were involved with the selection process for the nominees and determined the winners.
Utility Technology Challenge 2012 — Pilot Program Winner
Out of more than 150 initial applicants for the Utility Technology Challenge, Retroficiency was selected by a panel of industry judges as one of three innovative technology providers to conduct a real-world pilot at a utility organization, which includes sharing $100,000 in demonstration funds.
BusinessWeek — America’s Most Promising Social Entrepreneurs 2012
BusinessWeek named Retroficiency as one of America’s Most Promising Social Entrepreneurs. The magazine’s editors reviewed more than 300 applicants to determine the best for-profit organizations ‘building promising businesses that tackle social ills’.

TechAmerica Foundation picked Retroficiency as one of the top products in the Green Tech category of the American Technology Awards, which bestows the only “Best Of” awards that recognize all technology products and services for the technology industry
